In 1997 his Quintet opens Time in jazz festival in Berchidda (Sardinia), playing together with the children's choir Piccoli Cantori di Torino, directed by Giorgio Guiot.
In 1999, he win in Livorno, with Johnson Righeira (the author of the '80 hit Vamos a la playa),
the Premio Ciampi (Ciampi Award), dedicated to the memory of Piero Ciampi, off italian musician, dead in 1980.
In 1999, he records with Dangaa Khosbayar - Hosoo - one of the greatest singers of mongolian harmonic singing
(the sessions are included in the album Autoloop).
In 2000 he marries Elena forever.
In 2003, Wolfgang Flür, historical member of Kraftwerk, remixes Giorgio's Sweet home with Elena dancing,
(from Tech-Set demo) and makes a new song called I was a robot, the single of his next album, YAMO: Eloquence,
and title of his autobiography (I was a robot). Wolfgang takes part in Giorgio's new album TECH-SET, too (Freaking out).
In the same year, Lenine, the great brazilian singer and guitarist, records an incredible version of Mercedes Benz (J. Joplin),
for the new album: TECH-SET.
June 2004: his new cd TECH-SET is out for the label Il Manifesto.
May 2005, new live-set: Giorgio Li Calzi + Aleksandr Nevskij
December 2005: Giorgio wins again in Livorno the Premio Ciampi (Ciampi award): this time his collaborators are Lalli and Pietro Salizzoni.
